• Start/test drive vehicles on regular basis to check for faults
• Works under the direction of the Survey Engineer during the conduct of the survey, as assigned by the Survey Manager.
• Assists in locating property corners, lay-out of roads, waterlines, sewer lines, kerb, drainage structures, road furniture and other land features.
• Assists in the setting up and leveling of survey equipment.
• Drives nails, hubs, stakes, feno marks, iron pins, and other survey markers/monuments at designated points and to specified elevations.
• Assists in directing traffic.
• Assists in clearing impediments to survey alignments.
• Assists in the proper packing, securing, and storing of all survey equipment and accessories at the completion of work daily.
• Assists in keeping service vehicles clean, organized, and fueled.
• Performs other tasks assigned by the Survey Manager from time to time.
